Position includes development of Social Media Web user experience while keeping up with new Internet standards and web technologies.
Developer should have the ability to prioritize and complete numerous requests with little or no guidance, the ability to discern the level of urgency in a variety of situations and to take appropriate actions in a timely fashion. This position will interface within a small team environment with the potential to grow rapidly.
We offer a flexible work environment, a fantastic team, and wide ranging project work for clients in a variety of industries. This is an off-site opportunity but we prefer to work with local talent (Chicagoland area) and meet 3-4 times a month.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
PHP5, MySQL, Apache, Linux
XHTML & CSS
JavaScript (jQuery a plus)
Mobile app development experience a plus
Advance front-end development, including HTML/CSS/JavaScript
Object Oriented Programming
Strong understanding of cross-browser development (IE, Chrome, FireFox, Safari, etc)
Knowledge of social media APIs (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)
